Title: A Christmas Story
Post by: EC on Dec 13, 2005, 10:14 PM
I have planned the night to watch it.  I can't WAIT!!!  I seriously look forward to this every year.  I have a team of lovers, and one who has never seen it.

I know there's other Christmas Story lovers out there...

Woweeeeee!!  A Zeppelin!!
I can't move my arms!
Do you want a glass of milk?  Okay.
Daddy's gonna kill Ralphie!
Deck the harrs with boughs of harrry.

:)  So excited.  :)

I've only watched the movie once ( all the way through ), and that was when it was first released in the theatres back in 1983. I liked it then and I can't wait to revist it again this year.

You'll shoot your eye out!!!
You'll shoot your eye out!!!

Classic movie, I watch every Chirstmas.  My favorite part is when Ralphie is imagining coming home an old blind man and his whole family taking pity on him.  Classic stuff.  Anyone ever actually tried sticking their tongue to a flag pole in the freezing cold?

Man, I've never seen anything.  I'm really bad about watching movies.  Apparently, this makes me a loser.  :)

But!  I took this quiz (http://quizilla.com/users/kundavega/quizzes/Which%20A%20Christmas%20Story%20Character%20Are%20You%3F/) and it told me I was Ralphie.

How get I forget the glow of electric sex?  that part's great, too.  The other day I was eating at Ginny's Dinner, home of the Sweet Daddy Burger and Frickled Pickles and they had one of those leg lamps.  I was dumbfounded.  I wanted to walk up and start rubbing it like Ralphie but I figured they probably wouldnt take too kindly to that.  It looked fra-gi-le!

HA! so they actually had one of those lamps? that's awesome. I love how they show the movie for 24 hours straight. I think it's on TNT or TBS or something like that. Me and the fam just leave it on in the background all day....That's probably why I can quote the whole movie....
