Title: 101 Things to do in Lexington....or just 1
Post by: ellisintransit on Mar 02, 2006, 04:33 PM
Hi everybody!
So, I live in Nashville, and I am venturing to the 'ole KY to see Mogwai tomorrow night at The Dame in Lexington.  I've been to Lousiville many times, but never Lexington.  I'm looking for record stores there, but I've hit a brick wall.  I at least found the names Cut Corner and Disc Jockey Superstore, but there are no links that I can find for directions.

I know there are many lovely people from the KY on here, so if anyone has any suggestions for places to check out and especially a nice indie record store I would be quite appreciative.

I logged quite a few hours at Pop's Resale Shop...

Pop's Resale
1423 Leestown Rd # B
(859) 254-7677

His records aren't always in top notch condition, but he has a shitload, and they were reasonably priced when I spent some afternoons there. Not to mention the fact that he has some other pretty interesting items in the store. It is in a strip center on Leestown Rd. next to a Goodwill and a Subway. I recommend it. I began my collection there.
