I know some of you have lost yours in the past. I lost mine recently and really wanted to discuss how to cope. I'm seriously one of the most laid back people you'll ever meet, but I think this really might be taking its toll on me from a stress perspective. Its really sad knowing that someone else has your Bumbo and there's nothing you can really do about it. I feel that this is the only place that I can really turn because at this point, its easy to "hide" behind the computer screen. I dare not say anything to any of my family or friends though...its too soon. Can anyone lend some advice? Thanks for letting me get this off my chest.
Love,
HorkoLad.

What is a Bumbo? ???
QuoteWhat is a Bumbo? ???
I'm too embarrassed to say what it is...just think about it :-[
Hang in there, Horko Lad. When I lost my Bumbo 8 years ago, I was terrified. None of my friends had lost their Bumbo's (or so I thought), and so I went through it all alone. Years later, I was speaking to my best friend, and it turned out that she'd lost hers, too, but we'd been too pig-headed to talk about it.
I would talk to your parents about this. I'll bet they've lost their Bumbos, too, and would be able to listen.
Don't worry - it might even come back! :)

Waaaait a second! I recognize that! Holy shit, that reminds me that my self-induced non-watching of A Christmas Story is officially over in July, which means I'm free to watch it from now until December 25th. YEAH!!

When Mark and me were in Saskatchewan, he talked about our pre-amp like Ralphie talks about that gun. "It's a Universal Audio 6176 [or whatever number it was] ... etc."
It was really cute, actually. :)
Good new, folks.
I found my Bumbo..It was in Half's sweatpants.
