I've been wasting my time finding out where I live. It's kinda cool. Here's what I came up with:

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm google earth.....
funny how the pointer ended up on City Hall in Louisville. the two pointy red buildings you see are the lovely towers of the Galt House. zoom out a little, and you can see the Ohio River to the North. you're looking at downtown in your map.
I can see a lot of the buildings from downtown from my house....

A website told me how to zoom in on area 51. It was pretty cool.
i haven't looked at google earth yet, but google maps are pretty cool (zoom-in-able satellite maps)

Those hideous red-roofed towers are actually called Waterfront Plaza. 325 and 323 West Main St.

This application is kind of creepy... ::)
Google Earth is Unbelievable. I never use anything else for maps now. I am still finding cool features. It's a great way to scout for parks/hotels/resteraunts on road trips.
