Post by: tomEisenbraun on Jul 18, 2006, 11:22 PM
Okay, so i decided I'm gonna start making my own instruments this school year. Start winding my own pickups and make some messed up sitar slide guitar thing and just be innovative and weird or something.

this is my first project. i need to acquire some tools...

check out the link with the picture....making a hurdy gurdy out of an old guitar. hell yesss.

i think i might also add sitar strings to my old electric thaty i rarely play, just to have the extra sound available.

Primushead built a guitar in highschool. What a peice of shit that thing turned out to be.  :P

Seriously, though, Tom.. mad props man. Building instruments is one of those things I wish I would take the time to learn how to do. Good luck with that crazy contraption.. looks interesting. Can't wait to hear how it turns out.
