WOW! I just got to see this doc for the first time (THANKS STEAMENGINE!) and I must say I am blown away! The boys look soooo young and its crazy to see the original lineup. I got into MMJ with It Still Moves so Carl, Patrick, and Bo have been the band too me, but seeing the old Kentucky crew was really something. Also the beautiful versions of Tennesee Fire classics was fantastic. Tyrone was rocking too. The greatest thing is just to watch the completely unexpected progression adn direction the band has taken since this tour of the Netherlands after what... 20 shows in total... and comparing that with the epic 35 song science fiction history of rock rock your face off spectacular of Bonnaroo 08. I got to see them first at that amazing Roo 04 show and I thought they changed alot since then... but thats nothing compared to this marbelous little movie. I love Okonokos but I'd like to see a real doc in the same vein as this or even I Am Trying To Break Your Heart or something. Bottomline is from Tennesee Fire to Evil Urges this is the best band America has today. And trust me MMJ, as long as you keep a straight face...
yes i was watching again the other day... funniest part.. the guy that is talkin with jim sayin how much he loves the band and all. and he says i don't understand what you are saying but it is great.

"That is what I have for breakfast every morning... an egg...cheese and salt!"
I don't know why that makes me laugh so much. Just another one of those Jim-inisms, I guess. :)
....This Is Not America is also a name of a David Bowie song, is there any relation???....
This was a thread from long ago but this is a great documentary from the band after just 20 shows.

I wonder how many iPods ago this was for me...
Not ashamed to say I've seen it at least 10 times...almost a fraction of the number of times I've watched Okonokos
