Title: African Watering Hole Live Feed
Post by: Kel on Mar 26, 2007, 12:31 PM
This can be pretty cool if you catch it at the right time.  Last night (when it was 7am there) I saw zebras, gazelles and wildebeasts.

You're welcome!  I'm a pretty big dork and I watched it for about 30 minutes last night.  There was a pretty big animal party at the watering hole then, but it's empty now :(  haha.

I love the sound.  I think I'm going to turn it up real loud, get in my daughter's Barbie Tent, turn out all the lights, and pretend like I'm camping.

it's weird...the FIRST time I saw it, it was 7am there and there were TONS of animals, tons.  well, not tons of different kinds, but you know what i mean.  now i rarely see anything, but I do check back from time to time.

i saw those elephants yesterday and the camera zoomed in on them fighting.

A flock of rhinos!

I was starting to wonder if this was a joke, and in a couple weeks they would pull the camera back to reveal that it's just a retention pond at a mall in Kansas.

Yes, I did and OH MY GOD they were great.  They rocked my face off.

Then we got to talk to them just for a few minutes after their set.  Really down to earth guys.  Overall, it was a great night!

he was the second act. they rocked...loudly (of course the place was really small) i never got the name of the first band. and thanks for reminding me what the second band was, i forgot.

and going from one show to another, hopping in a cab, and just making it in time... thats rock n' roll!!

I haven't laughed this hard in a while now.

Sean, Planet Earth is the best thing to ever come out of a tv set.  It makes me really really sad though.  I will say High Definition is where it's at, you haven't lived until you've seen a Great White shark jump out of the water in super slow motion/high definition.

you're always catching it at night.  there is definitely color during the day :)  as for the shooting star thing, i've seen that before too, a light streaking through the sky.  it's either a shooting star or some sort of bug, because i saw one happen REALLY close to the camera once.
