I'm going cheap and buying some 1x8's and building bird houses. Both my mom and stepdad and dad and stepmom love birds, so I figure those work well. Couple books for people, too, what with the Borders discount, but I figure the birdhouses will get the most use and be something cool and personal. I'll post some pictures when they're finished.

I'm handing out cash, people can buy what they please.

I agree. Pretty sure the gift giving doesn't much of anything to do with anything the man's ever stood for.

Money is almost always the best present.

And yeah, change the title of the thread. In its current state, Jesus has nothing at all to do with Christmas. Or Easter, for that matter.

Getting my daughter a Wii fit, clothes , and some books.
Nieces and Nephews get  best buy gift cards.
The adults in our family don't exchange gifts.  We do a white elephant gift and play a game where we can steal each others gift. Last year I got miniature christmas tree made out of feathers ( I doused it with gasoline and lit it up over the summer )  and I'm  gonna re-gift it this year to a lucky family member.  The tree has been re-gifted for about 4 years now.  It's a friggin blast.

My better half  and I will probably just exchange body fluids while hot and sweaty  ;).  It's cheap fun.

Getting my daughter a Wii fit,

I hope you have one already.  They are hard to come by in these parts.

A wii fit that is, not a daughter.  They grow on trees at my house.

You're re-gifting a charred, feathery stump?!?  I love it.
