That girl needs a hamburger asap!
I can't believe people pay to see that. That was torture...I only made it about 30 sec.
I am still feeling sick and disturbed...thanks Tracy
QuoteI only made it about 30 sec.
nice effort, minor kudos :(
When she's introducing the band around the 7:00 mark, it sounds like they are jamming to a mix of "Whipping Post" and Zappa's "The Illinois Enema Bandit". I'm not kidding.
I don't have sound at work for my P.C. thank god. I lasted only about 10 seconds. Her scatt has gotta sound like shatt.
I pressed the "play" button, saw it had over nine minutes to run, and stopped it before any sound came out.
I don't need kudos that bad. Or props. ;D
I completed the challenge but I wish that I hadn't, I want my IQ points back. Holy Celine Camel Toe! Some of the comments on the youtube page are pretty funny too, and I quote:

does that mean you made it through the whole thing? ;)
I didn't take the challenge due to the word scatting being involved and all. See, I'm no fangirl of the scatting but I have to note that Celine is not on this highly accurate list o'scatters. Hmmmm. I've highlighted the notables in red for ease of reference:

Celine must have picked up and mastered scat during her time in Vegas. As far as I know, scat isn't a Quebecois musical thing.
Oh my overies hurt......oh wait I don't have any overies. That was just.....errrr wrong? On so many levels.
People actually willingly go see her? Oh the humanity

Hmmm, I was picking up some minor accents of "Cosmic Debris" in there with it...

sounds like part of an Andy Kaufman skit...or a fuckin' rat monkey or somethin'.
If my memory serves me correctly, Hitler was also apparently a big fan of the scatting...
:-/
I just watched this all the way through. Oh God. I feel bad for anyone related to this woman.
Missed this 1st time around...what a great thread!!!
Couldn't get even get half way through, I felt horribly uncomfortable & when my blood pressure starting going up I decided it was time to bail ;D
That was awesome Tracy!
Nice labiatard she is sporting. The shoulder shimmy during the guitar solo, 21.4 cool points. Making the pianist perform fake oral at the end, very romantic. White majority in the backup vocalists, unheard of.
All in all a very solid video. I feel more masculine now for having this experience and now am dreaming of being in a blues/jazz club in Little Paris in Vegas.

Once I pressed play and started reading responses, that statement got me through 3:48. Those folks at I Spy Camel Toe should really try to get her to do a vid for them.
The sad thing is though, Im sure her fans there thought this was the highlight of the show and 1 of the greatest things ever.
lets pretend we are in the middle of france at a blues jazz club....i'd rather watch telemundo
never thought I couldn't handle watching eight minutes of the boss, i was wrong...

yeah, I'm gonna live out the rest of my life totally denying I ever watched any of that or that it even exists. I am OK with that.
the walk like an egyptian dance at about 4:04 might be the next best thing to those moves from ''through being cool''.
