Title: Conan's Last Week
Post by: red on Feb 17, 2009, 01:05 AM
Who's tuning in?

Conan wielding an axe should happen more often.  The "Lincoln Money Shot" channel was hilarious, wonder when it originally aired?

Conan is one of my favorite people. So yeah, I plan to watch all week. I don't want to miss anything that may happen. None of the guests are listed on the Late Night website. Hopefully we'll get Triumph, maybe the masturbating bear will swing by too. I read somewhere about the White Stripes too, but is there an official announcement?

I'm sad to see him go to Leno's spot :/

...but this should be a great week.  I'm watching every last one of his episodes.

Speaking of Jay, is this his last week too?

Sadly, no:

O'Brien is scheduled to leave the program on February 20, 2009 to replace Jay Leno on The Tonight Show.  Jimmy Fallon will begin his version of Late Night on March 2, 2009. Leno is scheduled to host his final episode of The Tonight Show on Friday, May 29, 2009, and begin hosting his new late night show in September 2009. O'Brien will take over The Tonight Show on June 1, the Monday after Leno leaves.

So what channel/time is Leno's new show going to be?  :-?

Unless Letterman's retiring , I dont think I quite understand all of this

Leno will still be on NBC.  At 10 I believe.  The unfunny bastard weaseled himself into sticking around.

10?

Wow...so he's somehow made himself the first latenight show host to move into "primetime" ?!?!!?

I blame it on Letterman for not being funny and only old people watching him.
