Wow, Knoxville? Never thought I'd see the day. Waits so rarely tours anywhere. Count me there if I can get a ticket.
Nowhere near me, of course. :-/
Not even close to Michigan. I remember the last time he came around, I definitely wasn't a Tom Waits fan at that point therefore I was not in attendance. Bummer.
I'm attempting to get tickets to Houston, Dallas, Tulsa, St. Louis, Columbus, Knoxville and Jacksonville. Wish me luck.

You have to tell us if you get St Louis Tickets. Drinks will be had!
Hey DB, another reason to come to St Louis at the end of June. ;)
Haha! You're not going to give up on this one, are you? ;)
;D
Rumor has it that Mr. Waits will be playing the superjam at Bonnaroo with Les Claypool and Kirk Hammet. :o
Alarms are set. Websites bookmarked. Phone numbers programmed in the speed dial. My fingers are crossed, and my pennies are rolled.
Tomorrow will find me on the computer/phone in excess of five hours as I make six attempts to get a ticket to see my favourite musician in six different locations, all way too far from my home. I can't wait.

Good luck K.

My Visa is already crying. ;D
4/4 - mj, you better ready St. Louis, especially the fifth row centre at the Fox Theatre! Houston, let's not have any problems.
This is one of the best days of my life..

That's a fucking great seat. The Fox is awesome. (seen Phantom 3 times, Rent twice, and Wicked once there....do ask. Husbandly duties)
I'll need details on when you're here, staying, etc. etc.
Hey Hermo, where should we take him to do some damage to the liver?
Damn K, I just looked up ticketsfor the St Louis show. My credit card is crying out of respect for yours. sheesh I forgot how high prices are at that venue.

Hey no shame in the husbandly duties! I've wanted to see Wicked and the Phantom for ages.
The show is on June 26th (a Thursday), but I've not got any more details as of yet. The next show (Tulsa) is on the 28th, so as of now I'd say I'll be spending a bit more time in St. Louis than the other locations.
I'll be celebrating tonight (and maybe tomorrow ;)), but this long weekend will be spend hammering out some plans. All I know is that I'm quitting my job and will be setting out on a week I can only dream about.
Dallas ticket acquired! That's 5/5 for those keeping track at home. All that's left is Tulsa...

Phantom is well Phantom. I actually enjoyed Wicked way more then I needed to. Plus well, yeah husbandly duties for going.
If you are staying an extra day, then there should be some liver damage then. Let me know once you sobor up and hammer things into place.
Holy crap, that's amazing K! All those great tickets! You know how to work the system!
I'm definately up for damaging your liver, if it works out. I'm sure I will regret it but I had to pass up the show. Being in NYC the week before and the price of those tickets :o scared me away.
Enjoy the glow all weekend!
Tom Waits' True Confessions, I was gonna copy and paste it but way too long.

You should pick up
Big Time, if only for the amazing "Falling Down".
Thanks Dave, I'll add it to my collection of bootlegs from the tour that I've got to listen to.

Didn't realize that was a live album, sometimes its confusing when the word live isn't in the title. I'll keep my eyes peeled for that.
That show is so good, I have to see him sometime. Columbus, OH would've been my best chance. How often does he tour? Not that often I've heard....
Ahhhhh, it doesn't get much better for me than 'Nighthawks'. That Atlanta show was the naz, by the way.
