Yeah, I'm excited.  I read that interview a while back, this is my favorite part.......

Pitchfork: Actually, I recently spoke with your friend Stephen Malkmus, and he pretty much said the same thing about his new record.

DB: [pauses, then deadpans] I'm sure his will be very non-verbal.

Stephen Malkmus new record IS Awesome by the way.

i CANNOT wait for this....i hope they tour again...

seeing them in Philly was THE highlight of our 2 year stay there (apart from the MMJ shows, of course).

can't wait to hear the Malkmus record too.

why don't Berman and Malkmus ever get considered gods amongst men in the music world.........?

my heart wouldn't be the same without them!

I don't know them at all, but I really like "Smith & Jones Forever".  If I got that album with the blue and pink cover, would I really really like it?

HELP ME!

yes

it's called american water.  it went to my top ten on my first listen.  it is soooo hoooo good.  in my opinion. :)

and tanglewood numbers is my second fave.
and somebody in my gd house stole it, and i think i know who...

"Bright Flight" is pretty damn special too.....

any cd that contains this line is alright in my book:

"The snow falls down so beautiful and stupid
Fore the black silhouette of Abraham Lincoln trees "

amazing.....
