Title: Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band live?
Post by: the sun and moon on Feb 17, 2009, 03:48 PM
How are they live? Worth a ticket? I don't know a lot about Conor Obert's music. I've never really given him a chance.

I saw them a few months ago in Asheville.  They actually exceeded my expectations.  They had a great live sound and Conor really put out a lot of showmanship.  I would give it an '8' and call it a very solid rock show and would check it out if you get the chance.

I know it's a bit different, but I've seen Bright Eyes like, 11 times and was never disapointed.

aside from the extreme amounts of hipsters, the Bright Eyes concert I saw at Radio City was really good.  The Felice Brothers opened and they came out and played Tom Petty's "Walls" with Conor and his band at the end.  A really good show.
