Any thoughts on the reunion?
My favorite FM album is Mystery to Me. It was recorded before Buckingham and Nicks joined the group. It is awesome and unlike their later music.

The only reunion I'd be interested in would be if the Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan era Mac reformed.
have you ever seen that pic of peter green in his lost years...with those footlong fingernails? It haunts me to this day.
Nothing beats Rumours. Lindsay=genius on the construction of those songs

I like the Buckingham-led Mac, but it would be awesome hearing that original band in a smaller club or a blues/jazz festival doing those heavy blues tunes.
TUSK.

It's shocking that Lindsay Buckingham is rarely mentioned in most influential or best guitarist categories. His style is quite unique and he's an awesome lead and rhythm player.

Terrible album, except for the song Sara.
I actually like the self titled album that came out before Rumors a lot too but Rumors is one of the best albums of all time.

Here's a good live version of "Oh Well" from 1969. I respect the fact that Lindsay Buckingham-led Mac have always peformed a few old blues classics from the original era, such as "Black Magic Woman" and "Oh Well" (my favourite Mac song): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KE4HGlmtOcg&feature=related
Oh! Come on!? There's got to be a couple of people who are excited about this band?!!!

(Raises hand.)
Peter Green is unbelievable. One of my favourite guitarists of all time. This song alone -- this particular version, anyway -- puts him in my personal hall of fame:

His phrasing, tone and subtlety make me wonder how anyone could ever have called Clapton "God". "Oh Well", "Rattlesnake Shake", "Green Manalishi", etc. are all great blues rockers, but it's his slow blues that blows me away.
