Sun-Brozed Greek Gods....EP of the year?
These guys are from Worcester MA an engaging metropolis of crime and colleges where I spent 4 undergrad years. They are a lot of fun if you like smart danceable pop music.
Here's a link to an awesomely rockin' mini-set they put on for (yeeeeech!) pitchforkmedia 8)

I wouldn't really call it dance-pop since that (at least to me) conjures up images of Passion Pit or MGMT.
This, to me, is classic garage rock, my favorite kind of rock

Ha, ok. I see it now.
I prefer that live version, but either way I dig it
Ha, yeah that's the thing about DOM they are a crazy band. Cater to all sorts of misfits. i am not huge on that indie hipster synth pop but these guys can really rock out. Lead singer grew up in really tough conditions. They refuse to reveal their last names due to fear of creditors and have made outrageous claims like that 'Bochitcha,' a song written about Dom's cat, is the theme song to the Worcester Sharks (AHL farm for the San Jose Sharks) and is played whenever they score a goal. :D ???
Here's the daytrotter sesh....This sentence sums them up pretty good:
"They take us into some basement caves that nowadays would give you no cell phone reception, but during the 1980s that the songs on "Sun Bronzed Greek Gods" tend to invoke, these are the basements where the titty magazines were stashed and where there was an Atari hooked up to a 10-inch black-and-white television set that needed a good thump on its topside every so often to straighten out the picture"
