The boys have signed up for many festivals this year (I counted 3 so far). I wouldn't call it a festival tour yet, but it could easily become one (especially if they end up doing Bonnaroo). So, will there be more festivals on their schedule?...only time will tell.
With this commitment to so many musical jubilees, I am wonder what they will play, and more specifically...will they be playing their new album? I am also wonder about the days between festivals; will there be a tour announcement soon? ...I kneel down and pray every night before I go to bed.
The boys are always doing some festival...last year was no exception. The biggest question on my little mind is when will they have their own festival??? :D
Good questions Bigsky! It would be fun to travel to all the festi's MMJ play at. I saw them in 05 at Mt. Jam and then a week later at the Roo. But you need a lot of time and energy for festi's. You should def make it to Mt. Jam. It is so chill. The stages are set up at the bottom of the ski sloop. So it is a natural amphitheatre. You just need to bring a chair and a blanket and chill out all day! Most of the acts play in front of the 2 stages at the bottom of the hill. There are 2 other small stages and are more intimate as well.
Anyway, I would expect them to be headlining Bonnaroo this year. The roo in my opinion is basically MMJ's Festi anyway. They have been rocking that Farm for years. The legendary fashion. But it would be cool if they did there own festi weekend and headlined 3 nights in a row. They have so many friends in the industry they could invite an amazing line-up for us. JJ would prob have more fun than us! :D
How many more festivals can they do???
I would bet $5 on Lolla.
i would bet -5$ on Rothbury but it would be AMAZING if they played there

Maybe on the Moon? I'll find a way to go...
High Sierra again please.
I'm hoping for some Rothbury MMJ action this year. Would definitely be easier for me to ditch the potential their Roo set has.

I've been in dilemma funk for a while now too, but I think we're underestimating Wakarusa's potential. MMJ is listed on top of the lineup as the 1st headliner. They aren't listed in that way on any other lineup released so far during this year of our Lord, Festival Year.
Even though Bonnaroo would be crazy not to give them an endless set slot after what took place in '08, I have confidence that Wakarusa may do the same thing or something at least close.
Speaking from a disgustingly business-oriented frame of mind, it's great publicity for festival planners to have a band play 3.5+ hrs. at their first gig at Waka.
They are a headliner at Mtn Jam.
I'm really hoping they Headline Nateva.
Have you been to Rothbury? I'm in Brooklyn but Rothbury is just north of my hometown. It's so beautiful there! Would be amazing to go home and go up for the festival, that is if it's going to happen this year.

Roth is happening. Line up on the 28th.
I hope they make their first trip to Ottawa and perform at the Ottawa Bluesfest.
First of all, it's not going to be Rothbury this year. It's going to be Electric Forest. Follow this link for more information. http://www.livemusicblog.com/2011/02/14/rothbury-festival-returns-as-electric-forest-festival-2011/ (http://www.livemusicblog.com/2011/02/14/rothbury-festival-returns-as-electric-forest-festival-2011/)
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that MMJ won't be there. The main reason is because this is a String Cheese Incident music festival. They've already stated that all of the bands will have close ties to SCI. Just like Phish festivals SCI will play headlining sets every single night. They could play anywhere from 6-8 sets throughout the whole weekend.
I know it's not Roth, and I don't think that MMJ will be there. It is however a Double J festival, so it will be fun. There are other thinks to do at festivals besides watch the jacket.
i didn't see a line up for this?
