What's up with Jimmy calling himself 'Yim Yames'? Just for fun or has he gone he route of Matisyahu? :-?

I don't think it's his Hebrew name if that's what you mean.

Mr. and Mrs. James are probably upset tho! ;)

I still think it's pronounced Jim James...it's just spelled differently.

I just thought it was based off his signature. You can see it at yimyames.com, the y's look like they could just be cursive j's.

I think Jim was watching American Pie and liked how Shannon Elizabeth (Nadia) called Jason Biggs character "Yim" because of her accent, thus we have the birth of the name Yim Yames.

Someone in another thread said in Europe somewhere (forgot what country) they pronounce j's like y's, I think this is the best explanation for it. I bet Jim was overseas on tour and heard people call him Yim Yames.
