Title: Pedal Steel Compilation
Post by: goldeca on Feb 21, 2011, 11:05 AM
I'm trying to put together a compilation of my favorite tracks that masterfully incorporate the pedal steel. Other than "Where to Begin" and the cover of Prine's "All the Best," are there any other MMJ tracks that include the pedal steel?

Thanks in advance!

Golden and Smokin' come to mind among many others.

Wonderful (The Way I Feel) - I imagine the new album will have awesome pedal steel.  In the meantime, look for a good live version.

Also, Librarian.

Awesome, thanks!

I overlooked the pedal steel staples (Golden, Smokin'). I have a version of Wonderful from Lightning 100's soundcheck in which Carl gets funky with the steel; really looking forward to the studio version.
