Could it be a press conference to announce the release date, followed by a live performance of the entire album? Could it?
from their twitter:
stay tuned for a VERY special announcement for an upcoming in-store! Details to be revealed Wednesday morning!
QuoteJUST CONFIRMED! We are super pumped to announce that Everest will be playing here in the shop on Monday, March 28th! :) This in-store will also be simulcast on 91.9 WFPK Radio Louisville. Following the in-store, head on over to the Zanzabar where Everest will be playing a full set and joined by My Morning Jacket's very own, Carl Broemel!

Just saw this too, that will be awesome. I will be there. I'm selfishly hoping that Jacket isnt playing an Ear-X-tacy show because I will be leaving town for a week nad I dont want to miss out on tix.
Cool. I liked Everest when I saw them open for Wilco/Neil Young and MMJ.
Well it ended up being cage the elephant.

Don't think it was actually a full MMJ show. This was posted on Inforoo.com the day after:

Actually their guitarist Carl opened for Everest at a bar here in town. MMJ and a few members of Everest played one song together right before Carl's closing number and Carl joined Everest for a couple of their songs too. But not an MMJ show. Amazing show! Absolutely amazing.
Jim James did tell me that MMJ would be opening for Arcade Fire on Friday at Bonnaroo and not playing late night. He said 8-10 followed by Arcade Fire.
Yeah it wasn't a full show, just a really good backing band.
