I met him at the airport in Memphis once.  Great guy, true legend.

What a sad day....he was so pivotal to the development of post-war blues.

I was in Clarksdale, MS in January and had the chance to see the shack where he taught Ike Turner how to play piano. Hopefully he and Ike are sharing solos on Heaven's in-house piano.

He will be missed!
