Title: Vinyl
Post by: littleacorn on Mar 26, 2011, 05:50 PM
So I'm a vinyl junkie and have been amassing my mmj collection. I was wondering if anybody knows a good place to find mmj vinyl besides the obvious ebay, discogs etc.?

Depends on where you are located. If you or any friends are in the northeast and around any newbury comics or Bull Moose Music, I'd say check there. I have purchased TTF and At Dawn tat NC at reasonable prices. I have seen Okonokos, Evil Urges there as well along with quite a few copies of that Record Store Day release from 2 yrs back at several of their stores. Rare Eps and the like are harder finds. I am unsure if I saw ISM and Z at newbury but I think I at least saw the former at a few locations.

Bull Moose lists their whole LP list and Acoustica available on vinyl for reasonable prices. You may be able to order from them online.

Thanks  I have ttf,ad,eu and okonokos and the record store day release right now and i have a bad jazz 7" on the way. Im really looking for the picture discs  and older singles and then start going back and getting original pressings of the lp's.

I collect white stripes vinyl too so mmj stuff is cheap compared to that.  Recentl a white stripes hand painted lafayette blues sold for $18,000!

Funny story a guy from whiteswirl( a jack white collector board) is able to track down just about any record you could want.  I asked him for help and he needed the info for it.  So I went to give him the link to the discogs page on it and found one for sale there. It had to be put up that day because I check discogs pretty regularly.

On a website it says they have the TF vinyl edition of 1000, yet it says nothing about the Evenlyn 7". Should I assume it isn't the 1st addition then?
