Anyone else aware of this? My favourite current band by a long way recording their new album at Levon Helm's barn in Woodstock!
For me, The Gourds are a modern day link to the great music of The Band. Superb musicians, two excellent lyricists and vocalists, a whole heap of fun, but some truly beautiful music as well. I have no idea if Levon Helm will be appearing on the album but he's got to hasn't he? No news of a Levon / Gourds Midnight Ramble either......but if that were to happen I might just have to fly over!
