Thanks Picasso nice work! I'm sure this has been answered somewhere on the board, but does anybody know what that contraption is Jim has around his neck? What is it for? Thanks!

What's the file name of the one you want? I can send you a high-ER res copy, but I don't like to send out original hi-res ones.

It's not easy to sing a verse that's bookended by Jim James' vocals, but Daniel did it like a champ.

I had this same exact thought.  Loved that version.  I want an audio copy of this and the four Badu songs badly.

It's a sampler.  Plays prerecorded sounds depending on which sound you've assigned to each number.

AMAZING PHOTOS!  Thanks so much.

Those are some really great photos, very nice work and much appreciated!  And I dig the stoke you felt from being at the show and feeling the electricity in the room.

Not to try to be a bummer, but I am shocked at how much some people liked the Erykah Badu part of the show.  I know its just different tastes, and I'm definitely not a fan of hip hop, but even so, isn't it a bit over the top to say:

"And yes, this is when the real magic started. For four songs, two from each group, Erykah Badu threatened to single-handedly upstage one of the best live bands in America. Luckily it wasn't a competition, but a glorious collaboration. Hearing Erykah sing on "Wordless Chorus" was an incredible experience topped only by hearing her and Jim work together on her classic "Tyrone." When she playfully shoved Jim's head while he was soloing on his knees in front of her, I knew I'd probably never see a collaboration this great again. "

It sounds like you've seen a lot of shows, so its suprising to me that you felt that way.  Maybe we just don't like the same stuff, but I really hope that this collaboration is not the best you will ever see.  She is not a very good singer to my ears and I don't hear or see much talent there.  I was glad when she left the stage to get back to straight up MMJ.  Now if they brought out Mavis Staples or someone else like that with a really soulful voice that could match Jim's, then I'd be excited.

Just a different point of view, and one that seems to be in the minority.
