I know this has been done for other discs--show us your hierarchies! After a number of spins this is how the albom lays out for me enjoyment-wise:

(EDIT: after listening to my unwarped slimers for the first time, I feel wrong ranking individual tracks. If I were to perform a statistical test comparing my liking of each tune, no significant results would be obtained. Sorry guys :embarassed: This album has grown on me so much since May that it has become a 45 minute mind melting listening experience every time.)
This order will change perpetually over the next........decade. Live- Victory Dance, Circuital, YWFO, and Slow Tune are my favs (especially with that new-ish intro!).
If I were to post this again 2 weeks from now I'm sure it would be different.

Hmmm. Why does this track listing look familiar? Hmmm. ???
In all seriousness, I LOVE Outta My System. It's been stuck in my head for about 50% of the time since I first heard it. :o
I know it's simple and kinda kitche, but it really works for me. I've always thought that Jim's lyrics are better when he's mysterious and puzzling instead of direct and anthemic, but this is the exception to the rule! This song is so damn catchy and has a theme to which we can all relate (ok, I never stole a car but...)
Anyways I just had to give this song some love since nobody else is. It crescendos particularly well live, and reminds me of a good Tom Petty jam or something. Also, while on the subject, You Wanna Freak out is probably at the bottom of my list. I love that there's a big variety in everyone's favourite songs on this record, MMJ always throws out a little something for everyone! Just had to get that rant out of my system!

I guess its my turn, though it changes constantly. These are most informed by recent live performances, which have made listening to the album more pleasurable.

Really amazing how there is no pattern here. To each his own and it's all good! I've got The Day is Coming and HOTBM in the front and Movin Away and First Light at the end...but others have it completely opposite. And that works, too!

to fully experience this blissed-out rock epic, listen to the golden blasts of horns and guitars at an outdoor show. one warning: its psychedelic visions might land you in the chill-out tent.
I really love First Light, so I was surprised it ended up 9th on my first crack at this ranking.

Constantly. I was not a fan of Slow Slow Tune; now its top 3. I loved Wonderful going in, but its overproduced. I prefer the solo Yim versions of old. I always liked First Light, though the haters have tested my resolve.
