Title: A hypothetical question? (that hopefully turns out to come true)
Post by: ralph on Jul 23, 2011, 02:09 AM
If MMJ were announced for Bridge Benefit in October, how many of you guys would make the journey to San Fran? Would be great to catch up with you all again, and it would be 1 year on the dot since T5 finished. What a great reunion it would be. Crispy, you bring the pretzels!!!

Fingers crossed!  :)

I feel so blessed to live about 20 miles from Shoreline Amphitheater, where the Bridge School Benefit takes place every year.  It's a great experience every year, no matter who is in the lineup.

This year will be the 25th Bridge School Benefit, so I'm really looking forward to the lineup announcement.  When Eddie Vedder played Oakland last week, he strongly hinted that he will be there.

I would love it if MMJ played it again.  I really feel that they made a strong impression on people in 2007.

That Eddie news makes me very excited!

Im going to school at Santa Clara in the fall (10-20 minutes from the Ampitheatre)... Was at TTF T5... If MMJ plays the Benefit I am a shoe in... If not, I am probably still a shoe in. Also looking forward to Treasure Island, good lineup. Especially Stephen Malkmus

MMJ's last US show is Charleston on the 21st and then they take a break until the Euro-tour in November. I could definitely see them closing out the U.S. tour at the BridgeSchool.

I really think this will happen.  Fingers crossed!

The bridge school site crashed but I found this, don't know if it's a complete list...

No Jacket. Oh well...  :'(

It's a pretty eclectic lineup. Happy to see Eddies name listed. Acoustic Foo's should be fun. And it will be interesting to see what Santana does with his acoustic guitar... And although it's completely not rock I'm really looking forward to Tony Bennett! So there's enough on that lineup to make it worthwhile.

Nothing too exciting in my world on that lineup, a no-go for me.

And yes, Tony Bennett will destroy it!  He was on the bill in 2005? or 2006? and I left thinking he was hands down the highlight of the show, he had the crowd in the palm of his hands with every note...he was absolutely amazing.
