I will no doubt be diagnosed with OSB if MMJ rolls through Texas in September and only plays ACL (plus YY and Iron and Wine). Is there any hope for more dates to be announced surrounding September 17th? I love that they are taking longer breaks between shows to stay fresh, and I understand the reason for some time before they shine in Europe, but I just don't understand the one show in the middle of September and nothing else, especially when they are exploding minds on call right now. Does anyone have any insight on this? Thanks!!!
I'd love to see the guys play in Dallas around this timeframe. Seems unlikely that this will happen on only a month's notice. I guess if I'm going to have pipe dreams I'll throw out a Tulsa date would be even better.
how can you complain when you have YY and I&W after show. I would murder people to get that.

I did not know that. Thanks for the heads up, and congrats Patrick! At least now I can stop checking the website every half hour hoping for new dates...my work production is about to go up!
Also, I did not mean to "complain" about not getting any more dates, I just did not understand why they have ACL scheduled and nothing else. That is why I posted the question. The forum was very helpful in posting that article, and now it makes sense. I know they will be back through to present Circuital to our region as well, but I just was hoping it would be sooner rather than later!

I heard Carl say, in an interview posted in the INDY threads, that after Europe, more US dates before the end of the year. This would suggest possibly last Nov. through Dec.
Yay!
Does seem odd not to add a few other nearby shows around the ACL, though. Just in terms of getting the bang for the buck, with all their gear on the road and all.
