Thought they needed their own thread. That is all. Let the positive energy flow...
I've been a fan even before Phil Simms took over for Scott Brunner. I used to be a diehard, but I'm only a casual NFL fan nowadays. I hope they kick some New England ass tomorrow!
There are two teams I follow religiously. One is the NY Rangers. The other is the NY Giants. The Giants winning it all a few years ago was my happiest sports fan moment. I'm concerned this time though that my good fortune bank is almost empty, and I still need some in the tank for the Rangers to do well in the playoffs.
Giants in the superbowl, Rangers atop the eastern conference. Times are good. Here's to an epic game tomorrow

NY all the way!

I hate the G men and really any sports team from NY so GO PATS!
Hopefully the Giants back up their confident week long chatter. I'm not used to them talking so much, and much rather have them take the "us against the world",quiet, underdog, type approach.
That said; Happy Super Bowl Eve, and GOOOO GIANTS!!

Traitor! Time to lose the Bruins logo if you're rooting for the Giants ;D

Agreed, enough Giants smack talk this week.. let the game begin!
NY Football Giants are even winning this thread 5 posters to 4. ;)
I can't stop smiling. I live in Boston and all my Patriots friends are miserable....I am really enjoying it. Eli is the man!!
:)
Good game all around. tough back and forth. could have easily gone the other way.
glad for the way it ended up. eli sure has come a long way. :)
what a great game!~Sorry to Pats fans....could have gone either way...both QBs seemed great under pressure.
Personally, I think Bradey deserved more if we're talking purely QBs. Some dropped passes (that shouldve been caught 100% of the time) in the 4th by the pats were the deciding factor IMO. And they weren't Bradeys fault. However, I don't like Bradey, I was rootin for the Giants, and I won money bettin on them. So, woo go Giants!!
That 87 for the Pats on the last play of the game... He could've won the game for them. Not saying it houldve happened, cause it would've been tough, but he could've.
I think it was a good game.
All this could be total bullshit though cause I'm not versed in football watching. In KY its about the college basketball. But I hate the NBA
Brady missed some passes pretty bad on the second to last drive in the fourth quarter. But yeah, he played a good game. Eli played better especially when it mattered.
I didn't really care who won, just glad we got a good game.

:))Dude. Not real. I thinks there's one of my friends imitating me after game 7 of Cubbies /Marlins.
Ticker Tape Parade Day! Supposedly J Rud is in the house somewhere, waiting to hear from him, maybe meet up for a lunch beer----most likely it's too chaotic, though..

I don't know what was worse for me. Game 7 of that series or watching the Cubs come unglued in that infamous 8th inning of game 6 when they had a 3-0 lead and were just 5 outs from winning the pennant?!
Of course, worse for me even still was watching Jose Mesa blow a 2-1 save opportunity in the bottom of the 9th that would have given the Indians their first World Series since 1948?! And of course, it was those damn Marlins that did it to the Indians that year as well?! :-\

Yeah, ouch on the Mesa one for sure. I know what you're sayin about 6 and 7. 6 was the emotional blow up one. 7 was the depressed feel of resignation one.
The hands down local favorite I will add... :)
Giants Parade FAIL. What Giants player do you want to see? ... SANCHEZZZZZZZZZ! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwvTPNMEEGI#ws)
THAT. WAS. AWESOME!!!
Thank you, fellow Jints fans, for sharing in my excitement!! It was a crazy few days around these here parts. Finally getting back to normal :)
Sorry Ruckus. ;)

Classless. Just Classless. Deadheads these days. :( Or that's what Francessa would say right? No need to get all jealous Eric that our QB is infinitely more fuckable than yours. Ugh, I can't believe I had to choose a team to root for. One day the Jets will be in the Super Bowl against the Eagles, Skins or Cowboys and you will know my pain. Nah you won't. You guys don't have the inferiority complex us long time Jets fans have.
Seriously, congratulations to you mouth breathers. The less classless team deservedly won.
I heard that following the game, Coughlin yelled at some Giants fans taunting Jizzelle and some sensitive ;) Patriots fans to chill out. After some open mouthed, dim eyed stares at one another, the Giants fans slowly broke into a "Fire Coughlin" chant. Thank you very much. I'll be here all week.

No way Rob. 1st off have you seen Eli's wife? :o   Sanchez can chase all he wants, but Eli has done VERY well for himself, imo!
2nd, I'll have no trouble rooting for little brother over any NFC East team. They're our rivals, not the Jets. Same way I'll always root for the Mets over the Red Sox.
