Title: Jim Sullivan: UFO
Post by: dragonboy on Mar 11, 2012, 03:18 PM
I remember reading about this album, I think it was in the Buried Treasure section of Mojo.

I had no idea what album it was at the time but The Jayhawks played it in it's entirety before they came on stage the other night & I fell in love with it - we were desperately trying to write down the lyrics, googled them when we got home.

Just ordered myself a copy, can't wait to give it a proper spin. Any fans?

"U.F.O. is one of those albums whose backstory looms so large that it threatens to overwhelm the actual music, which would be a shame, because it's a bit of a lost classic of the singer/songwriter realm."
