Just read that the excellent BBC Storyville production company have been commissioned to make a documentary on Richard Pryor. Should be good as almost everything Storyville produce are well made and interesting.
Recent docs I've seen on there which were all good were:
Fire In Babylon http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01cqp77 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01cqp77)
Murder On A Sunday Morning (about the Brenton Butler murder trial) http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01709pk (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01709pk)
Tabloid: Sex In Chains http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01f13f6 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01f13f6)
I'll check it out. Given the subject, it should be an interesting, sad and funny horror show.
I forgot to post the link. It says it should be completed this year.
