I wanted to know if anyone had any advice for autograph seekers. I'd like to have something signed by the band and the next time I'll see them will be in Boston for the new years show. What's the best strategy here?
At the merch table there have been autographed copies of Circuital. Don't know if that is standard but keep an eye out!
It's not too difficult after shows and whatnot, but Boston might be tougher.
When they came to Australia I caught them at the airport before they flew out of Perth for Sydney and got my vinyl (all studio albums, okonokos, the 2 live eps, friends again single) signed by everyone and new multitudes signed by jim.. lovely guys! had a nice chat with Patrick too! easily made my day!
Wow, you had all your vinyl at the airport. What luck!
if you ask them to sign your breasts, make sure the marker's permanent, damnit..

You could carry a tattoo needle with you...
Whoops. Wrong thread.
Was at the 3rd night at the Wiltern run, it was amazing...
But when leaving a got rushed out by friends and didn't get to buy one of the autographed vinyls.
Does anyone have one they could sell to me, or grab at the next show and drop it in the mail for me. Could PayPal you...
Thanks in advance. I'm in Orange County, CA. if anyone local has one.
I've had the pleasure of meeting Carl twice, the band in full twice as well. Only once did I ask for a pic, whic was with Patrick after he performed on the Belle Aftershow. I can't stress enough how down to earth all of the guys were in each time meeting them. My thought is even though you may wanna freak out, lol sorry, keep it calm and just chat with them and ask for an autograph.

Carl is the only one I've had the pleasure of meeting, but I can't get over how down to earth and easy to approach he was. I saw him walking around after Wax Fang's set at Forecastle and yelled out "Hey Carl!" and he walked right over and had a nice little conversation with me.
They had the signed vinyl when I saw them in 2011, but I didn't see any vinyl or anything signed when I saw them earlier this year.

That's very cool. Yeah might sound strange but seeing how down to earth they are makes me love this band so much more. I can tell everyone when I got to chat with them at the Belle Afterparty show, I mentioned to each one how cool it was of them to still come out for soundcheck during Forecastle (weather almost prevented this from happening). They each made comments like, "no problem", "thanks for hanging in there with us", "we were really glad we could still working something out."
These guys all around care about the music they make and their fans!
