I read a couple of good articles today in the New Yorker and thought I'd share. I love reading well-written articles about music/bands/movements/genres/etc that aren't necessarily reviews or promotions.
Thought maybe we could share them

Now your turn!
This month's Oxford American is all about Louisiana music. I'd highly recommend it. I've been reading it since I got home this afternoon, and there is still quite a bit to be devoured. You can purchase it online @ http://oxfordamerican.org (http://oxfordamerican.org) or pick it up a magazine rack. Sorry they don't have it online yet. I imagine that it will be there later. There's an interesting article about Preservation Hall among other good reads.
