Good lord, he was right -- the sounds coming out of this mystery duo are absolutely beautiful. Anyone else REALLY digging this?

The story reminds me of The Alchemist...and there are a couple of moments where the clarinet sounds like it is teasing "sleep in heavenly peace" in a really slow and somber tempo...the opening phrase does it...

I can see the lighting of the church in my brain...it's weird how sound can create shape and contour and color.

i don't know about you guys...but I consider these things such gifts...in what other time and place were you able to exist inside the mind of one of it's greatest living artists?  when else in the course of human history could you hear the sounds that shaped their sense of awe and wonderment?  when else did you receive such real-time glimpses...such transportations?

such a gift, this strange cathedral of time and space that is our earth...
