Title: Let's make a comprehensive list of taping sites
Post by: johnnYYac on Jan 19, 2013, 11:12 AM
I know there are tapings of shows that don't get posted here.  Some tapers don't let us know when an MMJ show is out there, ripe for the pickin'.

I try to keep a watch for new tapings, as do many others.  What are the sites that deserve monitoring?

Obviously, the Live Music Archive:

http://archive.org/search.php?query=my%20morning%20jacket&sort=-publicdate (http://archive.org/search.php?query=my%20morning%20jacket&sort=-publicdate)

Also, bt.etree.org:

http://bt.etree.org/?searchsss=&cat=212 (http://bt.etree.org/?searchsss=&cat=212)

Not sure about The Traders' Den:

http://www.thetradersden.org/index.php? (http://www.thetradersden.org/index.php?)

Then there's Dime EZ Torrent:

http://www.dimeadozen.org/index.php (http://www.dimeadozen.org/index.php)

Any others?

Looks like you have most of the ones I check.  The only other one I can add is ZOMB torrents (but they only have a grand total of two MMJ torrents right now):

http://zombtracker.the-zomb.com/index.php (http://zombtracker.the-zomb.com/index.php)

There's also Hunger City, but from what I remember, they tend to focus on bands from the 60s and 70s:

Minor sources may include NYC taper.

I think Archive sources from etree. I could be wrong.
