Saw this on dime, not sure if anyone's posted this here yet.

Jim James
September 1, 2001
Space 101, Bloomington Fest
Bloomington, Indiana

Lineage:
Sound Professionals SPBMC1 Binaural Mics > Sound Professionals SPSPB2 Battery
Box > Sony MZ-R70 MD

Transfer:
Sony MZ-R70 MD > Presonus Firepod > Reaper v4.32 (recorded at 24-but/96kHz, bass rolled off, normalized, dithered and resampled, exported to 16-bit/44.1kHz) > CD Wave (track splits) > dbPoweramp FLAC 8 > MP3tag > Foobar2000 (Replaygain)

1. The Way That He Sings
2. Bermuda Highway
3. Just Because I Do
4. Lil Billy
5. I Will Be There When You Die
6. Nashville To Kentucky

NOTES: Transfer done on 4/9/2013. Details about the recording are foggy. If I used bass rolloff on the battery box, it was the lowest setting. I rolled off some in Reaper before exporting to FLAC.

I had never heard Jim or MMJ when I saw this set. I had my minidisc recorder there... the first song was awesome, the second was even better. That's when I started recording.

At the end, Jim purposefully scrapes the acoustic guitar against the vocal mic. The guy who yelled out, "unnecessary!" was an asshole.

Thanks for the heads up. Not sure if I have this one so I grabbed it while it's seeding.

Looks like the first two songs are unfortunately missing.

1. I'll Be Your Baby Tonight
2. Hopefully

Still got Lil Billy though!!
