I've got a large group attending this show. Can't wait!!!!
I'll also be there with a couple of friends.

Was on the fence as I didn't want to be anywhere but the pit (the lawn at the Amp is about 1 mile away from the stage) and didn't want to spend $100 for what figures to be a watered down MMJ set.
But then me and my brother said, "ahhh fuk it...seeing Dylan and Wilco for the first time + ANYTHING by MMJ is going to be better than sitting at home on a Wednesday night!"
so.......
1. Bang Bang + friends
2. Haldon + friends
3. HansAndreas + friends
4. WH7Gator + friends (and dad!)
5. Grizzy + brother (in the pit)
My wife and I will be there. First time seeing MMJ in the same city where I actually live. My 6 previous shows all required 1-6 hours of driving.

Same here. I've seen them in Atlanta twice, and Orlando once. Too bad it isn't a full set.
Can you guys believe they played New World Brewery back in 02!?!? How awesome to go back and see that.

That truly is nuts. I have an awesome boot of them from Gainesville (UF Grad here) from 2002 as well I believe at the Culture Room or whatever it was called back then. That place on SE 1st/2nd downtown.
I was somewhat jaded about this as well upon hearing about it but the more i though about it.... JACKET IS COMING TO TAMPA. WTF AM I COMPLAINING ABOUT?!?! So i'm sure it will be cool regardless. Can't wait!
Just went on to the ticket site and see A TON of tickets left. Going to be a lot of open seats, especially in the 2nd & 3rd sections. If they go on second I bet we'll be able to get real close in the pit.
Called the box office
Weir at 530
MMJ at 615
Wilco at 755
Dylan at 935
From the Tampa Tribune (Times):
"I figure we'll play between 60 and 90 minutes," says Hallahan, allowing that their performance will be abbreviated yet power-packed. "We're in a holding pattern now. We're just waiting for Bob Dylan to tell us what to do."
Just 60 min would be
Glad somebody posted that Bob leads off at 5:30pm. I don't want to miss that. And I'm traveling with 3 Dead Heads in my group of 5.
Based on what was played in WPB last night, I am oping we get a repeat collaboration of Weir with Wilco on Ripple and California Stars, as well as At My Window Sad and Lonely. From MMJ - a Mahgeeta and Dancefloors would be awesome, as well as a repeat of Evelyn.

So I guess they are not rotating the lineup? I was hoping Jacket would close by the time they got to ATL.

For a leg as limited as this one, I am so glad to see the guys are making the most of it by mixing up setlists and not doing the same greatest hits every night. All I ask is a three or four song change up night to night and I'm a happy man! So right now I'm ecstatic!

I forgot how early they go on and thus how early we could get the scoop on the shows. I'm psyched for all Deadheads that are now also Jacketheads. Dear Prudence is one of my favorite Beatles songs, and I must hear this version.
Of course the set list variety is tremendous. I bet there will be some cool MMJ/Wilco and even Dylan collaborations once they get to rehearse a bit.

It'll be a sin if a recording of these sets don't surface.
Also, if both of these bands continue each night with surprises like this my head will explode. This is only night 2 and I'm totally amped for the NE shows. I hope they keep this pace.

WOW! WOW!
Jim has really been digging the John Lennon/Beatles vibe lately and I'm loving it. He played Instant Karma a few times and now my favorite Beatles song Dear Prudence. I really hope they keep this trend up.
Also on the Wilco side, Dead Flowers by the Stones into Friend of the Devil... Wow.
I am beyond pumped for this tour! Chicago soon enough!
Man I wish I was there to take a video of it
Seems like Wilco and MMJ are bringing out the best in each other. Bob Weir is pushing them over the top.

Goddamn! What a set! I thought we'd be getting festival sets for sure, but I've never been so fucking happy to eat my words!
Also, they need to find a way to bring Weir on the rest of the tour. If this awesome collaborative spirit just dies once Weir leaves, I am going to be bummed and totally blue balled.

trust the jacket and wilco to crush it... best touring bands in America today. Wilco's set was different from last night also... Going to be some great highs on this tour even with the short sets.
I am so super pumped for this show now seeing that they are mixing it up, gonna be a great summer.
Can we get a review of Dylan's set tho? Haven't seen him since he played a Local ballpark during the Together Through Life tour. Really excited to hear how the Tempest songs are sounding, love Duquense Whistle. I am also a a huge fAn of Dylan's last 5 albums ( the grizzled cowboy yrs) hope he works Summer Days into the setlists.

So did Bob really play Corina? His setlist is incomplete at that list, but there's that tweet about it.
I'm kind of disappointed in the order of bands and lack of rotation like we thought, but it's still going to be great.
This Tampa set list is pretty much what I would pick if I were making an MMJ setlist - except I'd add in Highly Suspicious. Lucky ducks.
Did anybody check to see if there was a unique poster or was it just the americanarama poster with the individual date and city changed?
I'm not gonna lie, if Dylan doesn't do collaborations with any group, I'd prefer Bob Weir to take his place on the tour. I love Dylan, but seriously.

Straight, and aware Bobby, maybe so. The Bobby we saw at the end of Furthur's PC run, not so much.
This was a cool setlist especially for the short time alotted. The Bear is always great to hear, but playing First Light immediately after would really crush my spirits. Bear into Steam Engine then close with Dear Prudence or an extended jam Mahgeetah

Here is a review from the Tampa Bay area paper. Brutal to Dylan, not good for Wilco, raves for MMJ. It seems the folks in this thread liked Wilco, and ignored Dylan. http://www.ticketsarasota.com/2013/06/28/review-bob-dylan-distressing-at-midflorida-amphitheatre-tampa-wilco-my-morning-jacket-americanarama/ (http://www.ticketsarasota.com/2013/06/28/review-bob-dylan-distressing-at-midflorida-amphitheatre-tampa-wilco-my-morning-jacket-americanarama/)
