Hey roll call peeps.......long time no write..........anyone have any songs they think the boys will play for this weekend?
They did OBH in '07, so I wouldn't limit your thinking to only the originally-acoustic tunes.
For sure since Heart just played Zeppelins Rain Song. By the way sorry...Bridge school, not Bridgeport.
War Begun > I Will Sing You Songs (dreamin', I know but those would sound good acoustic, I think.)
At Dawn or The Bear could work too.
I will sing you songs is would be awesome
Starting off with an acoustic Circuital. That was awesome!
I didn't know what the second song was a cover of...
But an acoustic Victory Dance.... :cheesy:
Harvest Moon (With Neil Young)... Awesome!!!
I'm Amazed.... At how awesome this song sounds done acoustically!

Pastures of Plenty- Woody Guthrie
Great set, but short. Kind of a tease.

Do these shows ever become available for download anywhere. I really want to listen to Harvest Moon on repeat for a short while.

Apparently it's on demand from Monday till Wednesday
Wonderful set. They didn't just play the obvious acoustic numbers; we got to hear some really great interpretations. That Harvest Moon cover was wonderful, and I expect to have some version of it on repeat for the next few days.
Circuital would be a glorious song even if performed entirely on kazoo, washboard, and a backing by a jug band.
They could put Pastures of Plenty on the holiday 7" and I would be completely happy.

I love your thinking on this one. Any two songs from this set pressed upon some wax for the holidays, and I think we've got ourselves a winner.

Agreed..........I was watching the show and when Jim told his story of watching Neil on SNL, it was kind of like fate to me. I always loved Neil and play many of his songs on guitar. Harvest Moon is my favorite and also my twin brother's favorite song (rip dear one ) I also played it for my husband on his 40th birthday (16 years ago ) I was texting 2 roll call friends while watching. Just brought back so many wonderful memories for me and to see Neil on stage with the boys was so fullfilling for me and especially since they played Harvest Moon.
That being said - Pastures of Plenty was truley beautiful.
