dumb question, but which version is better...24 bit or 16 bit?
24 bit is "better", but 16 bit is the one you can burn to CD.
Wait until they're both up on the archive to compare
Nice...Thanks!
I called in sick to work today to track out shows. I'm going to attempt to get as many done as possible, load them on my laptop, and seed them all tomorrow when I'm at work on a 1.5mb upload connection.
The 16bit will pop up then, and the speed on this would pick up as well.
Thanks, ed! what else did you tape?
Today is officially "SpeshulEd" day. ;)
QuoteThanks, ed! what else did you tape?
dios malos
Oysterhead
Andrew Bird
Devendra Banhart
My Morning Jacket
Beck
Radiohead
Dungen (inc)
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
all front of board, some way front of board.
You took off a day of work for us?! Oh man, that's amazing. I love you... I absolutely cannot wait for the CD version... I'm at home with a sore throat, so I'll be able to download ALLLLL day long.
Thanks so much, Ed!
I am wondering if a different audio can be overlaid on top of the .wmv that is floating out there since Carl's sound is crappy. Is this possible? I am not expecting someone to do it but just curious.

I'm already at work figuring out just how to do this. It could take me quite awhile, but i am working on it
my god , this is massive!
I just realized that this is a three disc set... Woaaaah. I'm thinking about designing a little booklett kinda deal for some friends and giving the show out as gifts...
The gift of Jacket Love.
everyone's forgotten to mention that our very own Riny played some crazy shakers along with Mike and Chris for Wordless Chorus.
Quotemy god , this is massive!

Share the love my friend.
I'll try and figure out a nice practical design for a cardboard case with slot space for three discs. Then I'll offer up the .psd artwork for download...

god, it just dawned on me that they didn't play "Bermuda Highway", interesting.

finally, the 16bit, sorry it took forever - i'm upping on a fat pipe right now tho.
the show was over 3 hours, it has to be 3 discs
Sweet... I'll be downloading this right away! I'm already trying to design a neat little paper-case for the 3 discs... I'm not sure how good this is going to work, but it'll at least look good...
Outside (Back / Front) Design...

And great art, Ewok!

You read my mind. That lantern picture owns.
And last but not least...
I'll print these out tomorrow and paste them up into a little 3 disc slipcase... I really don't know if it'll work as planned, but it's definately worth a try.
If it works, I'll offer all this up for download.
that's some good artwork.
;D
i definitely appreciate the inclusion of the ferris wheel :)
Very nice Ewok. I'm going to need a copy of those.
dude. that's some sweet artwork! i'd love a download for myself!
can anyone tell me if I can burn the 24bit version onto CD or should i download the 16 bit version?
Thanks!!!
Quotecan anyone tell me if I can burn the 24bit version onto CD or should i download the 16 bit version?
Thanks!!!
I remember reading somewhere that you can only down the 16bit version....I might be wrong though
Quotecan anyone tell me if I can burn the 24bit version onto CD or should i download the 16 bit version?
Thanks!!!
you won't be able to burn the 24bit version to cd, so it just depends what you plan to do with the files.
thanks , ill get the 16 bit one then. i'll have to burn it eventually if i want to play it elsewhere.
16bit = cd
24bit = dvd
Well I finished up the case design and printed it off, and glued it together... believe it or not, it actually works. If you're going to make a nice paper case, just make sure you use a heavier cardstock sort of paper... Use a straight edge and a slightly dulled exacto to make nice bends in the paper... I used stick-glue to seal the edges together, then trimmed off some of the edges... The best part is that this baby has a bind, if you do it right....
