I believe you can no longer transfer rooms after Jan 2. That's what I was told as I was scrambling to complete one myself.

Really? That's no good. I had originally signed up and had to back out cancelling my reservation. However, circumstances have changed and I will be going with someone who already has a single room paid for in its entirety. They called Cloud 9 on the 1st or 2nd and they told him it wouldn't be a problem.
The issue is he hasn't seen my name show up on the reservation yet. Now they wont answer their phones or return my messages.
I just bought a plane ticket and am about to spend $300+ to expedite my passport. I hope this is not the case as I will lose my shit if I make it out there and they tell me to bad.

I haven't done that yet.
He did get a confirmation email saying that they would transfer me on. I'm hoping it could just be that they are on their Jam Cruise and the other trip they have until the 12th. They just haven't made the change official.
I suppose if I bring the confirmation email and raise enough hell I should be ok?
Understand I am not the expert, so please take what I say appropriately, but as I said, I did just go through this.
I think you will be ok as long as you are not changing the primary name on the reservation. Sounds like you are just being added. If you had to change what they call the "lead guest" then you are too late.
Yeah I am just replacing the second person on an existing reservation (and I already had an account set up before). I have faith that if we bring our email exchange with Cloud 9 saying that they would put me on there, I shall be fine.
Just makes me nervous to spend money on a flight and expediting a passport for any possibility of not making it in.
Worst comes to worst, I get a little raft and paddle my way to the inlet lol

They are answering their phones as of today so if you need to call/gripe/whatever, you can!

My boyfriend is not able to come with me due to passport issues.
If there is someone out there who wants to pay for their 1/2 of the room (I did the 1499/balcony/2 double beds) and the $125 change of guest name fee, let me know.
I confirmed that I can change my guest with Cloud 9 last week.
I love the idea of having the room to myself, but I would love not losing $1500.
