Moon Taxi kicks ass. If you have not seen/heard them, you're in for a treat. One of the best touring bands playing right now. Even after 10+ times seeing this band, every time I hear them play something they didn't play the last time that blows my mind to shreds.

Drummers mother was my math teacher in high school. They weren't really big then. They've grown a lot in the past 4 years. Never really gave em a chance. Which album should I start with? I have the album Melodica already.
I enjoyed Moon Taxi a lot when I saw them at Forecastle a couple years ago. Cabaret is a good record, but so far I have not thought much of Mountains Beaches Cities. Looking forward to seeing them again, they put on a great show.

Their studio records are decent. I was not too into Mountains Beaches Cities when it first came out, but after seeing them play those songs live a few times I really started to enjoy them more. But they've gotten a lot better since Forecastle a few years ago as I was at that show and the Forecastle show from 2013.
thank you aj!

As I recall, Crispy, we were sharing a blanket listening to them at Forecastle, or at least talking about how much we liked them.
