I enjoy fly fishing as much as MMJ. So, I booked a trip at Pesca Maya for Saturday morning. The buddies I'm going down with don't enjoy fly fishing as much as I do. So, I have a two-person boat and guide to myself and would enjoy splitting it with someone else. I'm fishing the mangroves on the 1.3 million acre bioreserve near Tulum. I'm very much into flyfishing but not going to OBH II, unfortunately, or else I'd jump all over this. Seeing MMJ and flyfishing on the same trip might be too much for me to take :cheesy:
Good luck finding a partner - I've tried to do this as well in various places with mixed results but it's worth trying as it could save you a bundle. Good luck and let me know how you make out!
I don't fly fish, but have spent a day on the bioreserve and it's truly amazing!
Either way I'm going to have a blast, but it would be fun to share with someone. I'll post GoPro footage afterwards just to entice someone for next year. Catching a 150 lb tarpon on a fly is pretty much coolest thing ever. In the middle of a mangrove no less.

I did the same trip last year during OBH 1....it was phenomenal. Be forewarned - the drive to and from fucking SUCKS....Good luck!
