I was thinking we should start a campaign epic style. Send MMJ's facebook multiple messages about red rocks. Stuff like what is your favorite color rock??? LET'S DO IT THREE NIGHTS. FRIDAY SATURDAY SUNDAY! yeah I'm Jazzed.
I would say the tour is already routed at this stage so a campaign couldn't change anything
At this point the Red Rocks calendar is locked, esp for anything that is multiple nights. Promoters start submitting bids to the venue for date slots before the new year. Most bands also have restrictions on announcing tour dates when they agree to various festivals. Festivals want time to get tix sold before the band starts selling for their individual tours.
3 NIGHTS AT RED ROCKS!!! I'M ON BOARD. LET'S DO IT. :cheesy:
3 Nights at Red Rocks!
Could be 1. Could be 3. Could be 2. Who knows?
I'll take whatever they can squeeze in!
My money is on 2 nights. At one point they may have put a hold on 3 nights as they figured out which 2 of the 3 would work for the tour. Red Rocks holds up to 9,400 which is a lot of tickets to sell for 3 nights. I will not be making it this year but if you're on the fence and have never been to RR you have to make it happen!
if its happening, it was booked in October '14...seasonal venues are a 365 day business!
Hozier and Dawes are booked for Sunday 8/2...
As much as I would love a Red Rocks run, I'll be happy with one show. The 2011 Red Rocks show was fantastic and is completely underrated because it is overshadowed by the two shows the following year. Has a taping of the 2011 show ever surfaced? I can't seem to track one down.

There's an official release for the 2011 show.
I must be dense because I can't find it. I can only the 2008 on archive.org show and the 2012 shows from livedownloads.

I believe it was a roll call exclusive, free download. I think it was the first one they did and was given free to roll call members.

Bingo, I knew I had, but I can't seem to find it on my computer and didn't find anything on the interwebs. Sorry didn't mean to sidetrack the thread. Single night shows can be amazing too.
Yeah i missed the 2011 show but I have the recording and it was phenomenal. Wish i was there. Also I want to relive the 2012 shows because that was the best two nights ever. I was a bit exhausted afterwards. I could have slept and dreamt for days. what a good time. RED ROCK RED ROCKS RED ROCKS ROCKS MY SOCKS ahem

Why did I miss this recording? I've been a Roll Call member almost continuously (with a lapse in 2013)... was 2013 when they kicked it down? This was my second Red Rocks show (#1 the night before with Primus and F. Lips)... and would love a copy of it...
Interesting Mahgeetah, we have it, double check your iTunes. The digital "album cover" is the infamous snow globe poster that hangs in many of our homes. If you cannot locate it, I will have a copy awaiting your arrival for Mr. Adams.
