I haven't been to this venue yet, but it looks like it's all seating  I really hope there is a general admission pit or something. Someone shine some light on this place! Am I going to have to pay big bucks for a front row seat? Other than that the place looks beautiful, just I don't know if it's a good fit for a rock concert..

It is small, all seats are good seats. Looks like the most expensive ticket will be $56 after expenses.
I'm going to these shows!
Do you recommend getting roll call?
Think these will be my summer shows. Sister lives in Dayton now and need to visit sometime this summer. Any venue suggestions are appreciated!
I was at this theater a few months ago for the first time to see Ryan Adams. It was a beautiful small theater. probably not a bad seat in the house. I was on the floor, the first row of the 2nd section back so I had the aisle in front of me. It was perfect.
Would love to go back but these shows are in the middle of the week...
edit:
I was Section 1, row O
anything in 1-4 is probably great!

I just not thrilled about it not being GA. I would much prefer the lc pavillion. Or even the newport music hall.

Hello everyone... I have a question. I read when the tickets go on sale we have to put them in our cart, then we have twelve minutes to finish our purchase or they go back out for someone else to buy. Now... I want to try to get both nights here.. Do I have to make a separate purchase for each night or can I load my cart up for the ones I want and pay for them all together?

It looks like we will have multiple day ticket options as well:
*PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE A MULTIPLE DAY TICKET OPTIONS FOR THIS SHOW. THAT OPTION WILL LOCK IN TICKETS FOR BOTH SHOWS (6/23 AND 6/24).*
*please note: there will be multiple ticket options for this show (single day and multiple day). if either of these options sells out during the presale, please be aware that additional inventory in that option may become available at the public on-sale.*
But unfortunately no GA Pit:

Call me crazy but I kinda dig the assigned seating aspect. One of the reasons I'm drawn to these shows!

I'm OK with the reserved seating but was kind hoping to use my New Roll call laminate.
Anyone have luck with the 2-day reserved? I'm only looking for two seats, and it's telling me they're sold out.
I got a tickets for c-bus. I put 2 in my cart and then let go of the lesser seats. keep trying!
I got 2 tickets for Floor Row H 109/111 for both days, really looking forward to this!

No, they seemed to be gone immediately. I bought 2 each night independently with one check out, no problem. Sill had 7 minutes left on the purchase clock. Main floor section 2 both nights row B and row C. They also had shipping options for those asking: "Item(s) will be shipped to you."
you all are crazy. I am STILL pulling tickets. I got ROW D single 2-day pass extra, if anyone is looking for a single. I also pulled tickets separately for row AAA pit A the first night and pit B the second night

Gotta love the seat #'s, this threw me for a minute, until I looked at the seating arrangement and counted seats and realized they go every other...

Damn I guess I should've tried for single day tickets first.
Well, that was a waste of 37 minutes.
Guess i'm waiting for Friday.

Got my tickets. Row P, so not as good as I wanted, but I'm glad this week's pre-sale crap is behind me. Paid for roll call to then not even be allowed to access the pre-sale, and then be blamed as user error repeatedly from WU, even though they said that resetting my subscription fixed the issue...Never again.

You're right man; I'm thinking positive vibes. It's time to spin some MMJ tonight with a beer in hand!
I'm driving in from Indy actually.
I'm glad someone from the forum got some good seats! Mine are decent, and could be worse. There isn't a bad seat in there though. Enjoy the show!

This is why I don't even deal with signing up for Roll Call anymore. I figured they only get so many tix and there always seems to be problems. I had the same thing happen to me for Port Chester where I got shut out of the pre sale because there were only so many tix available for pre-sale but then ended up getting tix to all 3 shows easily on the day they went on sale to the public.
This year I just decided to not even waste my time with Roll call and I scored Loge tix for both nights which is what I was wanting anyways. Also scored front row Mezzanine for the Cleveland show as well so I'm pretty happy!

Amen to that! I'm firing up my Weber tonight for the first time this year and grilling up some steaks with some homebrews and lots of MMJ on the stereo!
Temps finally over 50, snow is melting, spring is in the air, and MMJ is finally touring again! It's a damn good day to be alive!!!
I like the way you think!
It looks like Floating Action starts at 8PM? Does that mean MMJ will play from 9-11? Or is it possible for them to play until 11:30?
Anyone interested in meeting up for some pre-show beers? My wife and I usually hit up Barley's Brewing Co. on High St. It's less than a mile from the Palace and they have a lot of good beers that they brew on site!
Barley's Brewing Co. (http://www.barleysbrewing.com/)
Another favorite of ours when in C'bus is the Three Legged Mare across from Nationwide Arena. We usually hit this up when we are seeing shows at the LC. They have a nice outdoor patio which is a nice area to enjoy some brews prior to a show as well!

Definitely, it would be nice to meet some forum members.
I'm noticing that the Cbus shows start at 8PM while the Detroit and Chicago shows start at 7PM and 7:30PM. Does Ohio have later curfew laws, or are we getting a shorter set? I'm assuming Floating Action will go on at 8PM and then MMJ at 9PM-11PM?
I have 2 2 night tix for the Columbus show: Floor Section 3, row H, 105,107. Face Value
Headed down solo and will be looking for single tix.
If anyone has any interest, let me know.

Get in touch with Yalan at Double Happiness (http://doublehappinessohio.com/). Great bar with a small performance space, so you could maybe even get an aftershow together!
Good Morning All!
Has everyone received their tickets for the Cbus shows already? A little worried because mine have not yet arrived...
Thanks!

i would assume the show time is listed as Eastern Standard Time. Chicago is On Central. I am fairly sure it's 8pm Chicago time. But then then again, I could be completely wrong.

Is there a soundcheck party for these dates? I see a guy on Craiglist is selling a pair of tix
Anyone have an extra +1 to either day/night's soundcheck? I'll buy beers pre-show and during/cover cost whatever :)
Wednesday night was one of the best shows I have ever seen period. Granted it has been 2 years since I've seen MMJ, but holy shit! Blew me away!
Just my experience in a nutshell for night #1...needless to say, WU has some work to do: This was the response i got to the clusterfuck that became my evening:
thank you so much for taking the time to right back into us and share your feedback. We can completely understand your frustrations in this situation and we will take as many steps in the future as we can to assure that an issue such as this does not occur again in the future. Our management does review all of these submissions and your feedback will be used to improve upon our practices for the future.
We are very glad to hear that everything was able to be worked out despite all the delays and setbacks. Thank you so much for the time that you took to share this feedback with us.
Gerry Brooks, Jun 25, 9:14 PM:
Hi, although I appreciate Adam's concern over this matter, I must say that the cluster that came about as a result was seriously disappointing.....to give further background as to what happened, I had asked that my ticket be moved to will call for the MMJ concert on Tuesday, June 23rd for their Columbus show......because the will call window did not open until 6 p.m. and I was a 20 minute cab ride from the venue, I didn't feel the need for early entry because I had a reserved seat....I arrived at 7:45 at the box office only to be told that my ticket was not there.....to make matters worse, no one there knew of this and my WU phone # was left back at the hotel......so another cab ride back to the hotel to make the phone call on my cell phone to WU (at further expense to me because I'm using my cell in U.S and I'm Canadian).....another cab ride back to the Palace venue, and again, miscommunication because obviously this message was not received by either Roll Call at the show (who I spoke with and was told there was nothing they could do for me) or the box office (because when i returned I was met with the same response as before and that they did not have my ticket)....it was only when i asked to speak with the ticket office manager, did I finally get the response that they had just spoken with a representative from WU regarding this (thank God whoever came through on this)....long story short, I missed the entire set from the opening band (who I had really wanted to see), got an added expense of $40 in cab fare as well as who knows what for cell phone fees, spent an added half hour at the box office watching as they tried to figure things out and process me the ticket, calm an angry and disappointed girlfriend who had to deal with an equally angry and disappointed boyfriend that night, plus be rewarded with the added humiliation and inconvenience of being made to feel like I had done something wrong for a ticket I had purchased 3 months ago and as of today, have still yet to receive in the mail (with added shipping costs for that to boot)......needless to say, this whole experience put a damper on a mini vacation I've had planned for months now and at an added expense that I didn't anticipate.....I would hate to see what MMJ would think knowing this kind of shabby treatment was happening to their paying fans, some like myself, who travelled some 4 hrs just to see this show.....and it still boggles my mind why this show was not made available as will call in the 1st place (as the other shows I purchased were), because waiting some 3 months later to actually start delivering these tickets was a disaster waiting to happen......perhaps, what is most disheartening is that I received no apology for the inconvenience, not from the box office or WU......it just screams of bad business when you had no issue with charging my credit card for the ticket back in March and I am left scrambling before show time not knowing if I'm even going to see the concert after just making the 4hr drive for that primary purpose.......I doubt anything will be done in this matter, but I can honestly say, that this whole runaround was avoidable and unnecessary.....as a business, please learn to take pride in your professionalism...thank you for your time
Hate to hear all that maynardsux. I really wish I wouldn't have read it. Now, I am worried about my tickets for New Orleans and Austin coming in the mail.
Other members, is this an isolated incident, or is everyone have this issue getting tickets in the mail?
