*Ashli sent me up to Knox after we both hit Athens... stayed home with the baby like a champ! Now she gets to roll solo. Wish I would have had a sound check when it was my turn, but I got that SPACE ENGINE!
Maybe both of you could do the unannounced Nashville show on the 6th. If it really is going to happen, they should be announcing it right after Bonnaroo.

Oh yeah! That's the game plan... leading into two nights at the fabulous Fox!
Unannounced Nashville show?! Im requesting off tom just in case and will ride up from Atlanta. any venue rumors? I've seen a few shows at the Ryman and they were AMAZING...
It's supposed to be at the new Ascend Amphitheater.
Ticket alert. There is a pair of 5th row tickets available for Birmingham.
yeah... if you don't like big crowds or the "new fans" then come to Bham. Tickets close to stage still available.

I'm curious, if anyone has been there before, what is section X1? Just got home from ATL and getting ready for B'ham, looked at my order and have no idea what that section is from the seating charts. Anyone out there know what that is?
What's the row number? If double letter, it should be continental which is closest to the stage. Single letter should be orchestra which is up slightly but still very close.

What time do they normally go on?
The row is EE so I'm thinking it is the front floor section.
The Atlanta shows they went on at around 930 Friday, closer to 915 Saturday.
Opened with The Dark
Rare stuff: They Ran, Strangulation and Hopefully
Super short show 2 hrs 3 minutes
Fantastic set. They really brought it for Birmingham on a Monday night. Here are the details...
The Dark
Compound Fracture
Off the Record
First Light
Wordless Chorus
Infancy
They Ran
Strangulation
Like a River
Believe
Tropics
Circuital
Dondante
Spring
Mahgeetah
Encore:
Hopefully
Touch Me pt 2
Victory Dance
One Big Holiday
Nineteen songs so a little short but I gotta say that until I just counted, I didn't feel like it was a short show. I really enjoyed the focus on the Waterfall. Looking back over my four show run, I'm amazed how deep the guys are digging into their catalog. Other points of note include I didn't catch a single Big Decisions, strange. Also, Z songs are now firmly in the bust out category outside of Dondante and Wordless Chorus.
Fun stuff and can't wait to do it again.
PS Next time scosby should save some requests for the rest of us!!!
It looks like whenever they make a setlist with Dondante on it they leave 2 songs off. This Dondante just wasn't that long.
Just checking my stats.....
Super rarities show for me....out of my 29 shows dating back to 2005, I got my first Hopefully, second Strangulation, and my second They Ran.
One of these days I'll chase down Nashville to Kentucky!!!!!
This is kinda a short show but hey hopefully you enjoyed it its MMJ

Clockin in at 43 shows and I've only seen
1 They Ran & 2 Nashville to Kentucky.
Still a big goose egg for Oxen(How could I know?)
But chasing those "White Whales" is part of the experience.
It's the journey not the destination...right...?
Awe, I'm full of shit I'd go anywhere to see Oxen :)
P.S. I think Scosby's earned the right to request whatever he wants. I just hope I'm there when that
The Dark>Oxen happens. I can't imagine how many glow sticks one man can throw? Bet it'll be some kinda record!

my friend was just saying how Big D seemed to be getting phased out recently. Hmmm
Jim held up my wife's "It's Nice to Have You In Birmingham" poster during the show and we got it signed by the whole band afterwards. Also hung out with Tom for a while - such a nice, approachable guy. Really soft spoken and humble. Drank with the Dusty, Henry, Rocky, Laura, Matt and the rest of the crew until about 2am. Decent night haha
trying to figure out how to post the pic of the signed poster. How do you do that?
Made the trip from Pensacola with the lady to finally cross MMJ off my bucket list and I've still got the post-show afterglow nearly a week later. Jim gets a ton of love, and rightfully so, but all those guys are absolute rock stars. Can't get enough.
@SpaceWrangler - were you near the front with the Michael Houser shirt?

I've noticed that too in the recent setlists. Hope to hear it at Red Rocks. I like me some Big Decisions!!
Any word on this show being taped?
Anyone? :(
Nothing yet, far as I can tell... :undecided:
Sigh... I don't think it was recorded. I think it would have been up by now.
