My Morning Jacket will be playing The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC on Saturday, March 8 @ 8pm. They will be joined by Follow the Train. We are finalizing plans for recording this show.

I'm sorry to report that this recording fell through about 15 minutes after I posted that I was making final arrangements. I talked to Jim and Pat the Saturday before and everything was cool, but went for an email from the manager to the Orange Peel, and we couldn't pull it off.
The boys are travelling and we didn't want to get in the way. My setup is a bit more detailed than the normal stereo mic in the back of the crowd taper's rig. We didn't want to add any stress to the date.
We'll start earlier to arrange a recording for the next time the play the Ville...however many years from now that is.
I can't believe someone was able to catch that link and post it out here. I really had it up for 15 minutes at most. Sorry, guys.
I was at the show last night. MMJ were incredible. And the show was taped. Someone had a mic about 10-15' in the back. Hopefully it will surface soon.
