Nevermind, it said that Bittorrent Version 5 is banned so I went and found Version 6 which is much much better. It actually lets you chose which tracks you want. Nice.
I was on my over to tell everyone that night was had been launched on tradersden.org
Looks like someone beat me to the punch.
If night 2 comes across my path I will be sure to let everyone know.

Almost certainly no. The Bridge School people didn't want it taped in the first place.

mmj wasn't against taping, it was only the venue. There are more places like this than you may think. The archive only freaks when they see a word like soundboard and the artist says "no sbd".
Wow. What a beautiful version of The Way That He Sings. Like the piano over the electro keys.
What do you guys think about the new song? I like it. But I need to hear it coming from the studio and pluged in. Lyrics would be nice too.

There wasn't a single negative thing in that post. Are you feeling OK? I'm worried.
Perhaps a better source for Saturday's show?

Anytime bro! I'll put up the other source when I get done downloading. Looks like there's a 24 bit source too! Thanks for the heads up buymycar!
Thank you very much! Great recording!
thanks to all the tapers!!! can't wait to hear night 2!!!
yeah, thanks. Wonderful (The Way I Feel) just made my day.
MMJ are so fucking cool, god damn!
Has anyone heard of a source from the 2nd night?
I couldn't agree with you guys anymore about the new source from Sat. The 1rst source sounded like the guy had a mike clipped to his hat and he was standing in the nursery section.
Could someone post the new/better source on Archive? I don't know if that's possible, but I can't get it to work the other way and I would love a better version of this performance. Thanks.

lol, that's what you get when you tape from the lawn. I couldn't believe that when I read that on the txt file.

yes, thank you!
Thanks for the heads up! Can't wait to hear the OBH!
This is great news....thanks for the heads up :)
Sweet! I had to re-download Azureus because somehow I deleted it, but now the show is almost done downloading. Hooray!
Holy SHIT!!!! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
I was waiting to download the "better" night 1 recording until night 2 came in, and so I just listened to both of them at lunch, and wow!!! Sooo good. Much better recording. This will definately be a regular listen. Off the Record is sweet and the OBH is excellent.
I still want to say thanks to whoever recorded the copy that came up the first time. It may not sound as good, but if this was the only one, we wouldn't be knockin' it. It still allowed me to get a feel for what the show was like. (And I actually kind of liked the kids screaming in the background. It reinforced the setting and mood of the day, ya know)
Can someone spread the love? I can't register on dime and I am dying to hear night 2 and a better night 1. Please help a fella out!
^^Bump for someone to be my hero and up these two "better" sources to the archive....

No problem. I will probably mail it on Monday if that's cool. In ref. to the Bonnaroo, I am so happy to have that documented like that. I will never forget that show. I still think it's the best show ever.
24 bit audio??!? where is this dvd available? Can I get a hook up or a trade? :-*
Quote24 bit audio??!? where is this dvd available? Can I get a hook up or a trade? :-*
Kory,
I synched the crappy video from the webcast a long time ago with the 24 bit audio that is on the archive. http://www.archive.org/details/mmj2006-06-16.km140.flac24
I sent BH a copy back in late 2006, only made a few copies of it....let me see if I still have it on my computer at home, However I think I deleted the project...or my daughter did. The video really isnt trade worthy in my opinion..
gotcha, I have that audio saved to a dvd somewhere. I don't need a copy, I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss something.
Thanks!
Right there with ya Kory, I thought I might have missed something also.....I would love for a good video of the Bonnaroo 06 show.
I think that was my favorite concert ever!!!!!!!!!

Kory- You are the MAN! And and huge thank you to whoever taped!
thanks again, brother!
I probably have 100 posts from simply thanking you and Ger.
You people never cease to amaze me. Thank you, Kory.
there's really not that much to it guys. All thanks should be directed to the tapers and most importantly to the band for playing it and allowing tapers to tape it.
I plan to get started filling in some of the holes of the later stuff this winter so we can stuff that archive full of mmj!
Yeah, thanks man! The recording of night 2 is excellent!
Thanks everyone!

Is one of those holes last November's show in Chicago with the orchestra? Or possibly Jim's show at the Rud earlier this year, I think it was in June?
Sorry, I don't have either one of those... the Rud show will supposedly become available in a long 7 months from now. It was recorded but Jim asked that it not be distributed.
Let's hope Jim, Ron and Sara E will release the whole show as an additional benefit for the Rud to keep it's doors open.
THANK YOU KIND SIR!

Thanks so much for this. I have been dying to hear it.
What a great show!!! Makes me wish we still had the unplugged series.
Does anyone know if this will be made available on film at all? I've seen some proshots of the metallica performance.

Usually, the Bridge School makes nothing available from the shows, even though they record both audio and video of the show. That changed last year when they started releasing "Bridge School Collections" on iTunes, but their selection of songs is questionable and far from comprehensive.
They've never made video available. However, Metallica seemed to break all the rules this year: they offered their fans in their fan club a presale opportunity for tickets and they recorded the shows and put them up for download on livemetallica.com. I've never seen any other band in the last ten years of Bridge get such priveleges. Even bands that have played Bridge several times, like Pearl Jam and DMB, have never done such things.
I'm curious to find out where you saw the pro-shot Metallica? Is it being offered by the band or is it bootleg?
