I'm on it!
Was really looking forward to not only listening to this but also taping! However, I can't get the damn stream to load on any computers! Might be geo-blocked, as I'm in Canada, so I'll have to fire up the ol' proxy IP to get around this. I'm going to be so bummed if I can't listen!
Is anyone having luck getting their online player to work? I've tried three different computers and a VPN and the play button just spins there, loading forever. What a bummer!
It's playing fine on my mobile app. It's done that to me before on my work laptop in the shop. I would turn off the computer and restart it and it would work fine.
It's as glorious as I remembered!
Buzzer beater! In a last ditch effort, I completely uninstalled Java and reinstalled, then restarted and for some reason now it works. Gotta love computers! I am also attempting to record, and so far, so good. I'll have a link to download ready shortly after it's done! Sounds great so far!
The "give 'em hell, Carl" before the solo on Evelyn!
Yeah this sounds really good! Like Okonokos quality
I'm really sad they cut out Where to Begin and Carried away
Ditto. They wailed on Carried Away.

WHAT? Who was the brains behind that decision?
I really wish I knew. They talked before the show how the band pulled out deep tracks for this show and then they cut them out...
Cutting those songs hurts. WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE TO REMOVE SOME SONGS OFF THIS FLAWLESS QUALITY FREE MMJ BROADCAST?!?
Seriously though, WXRT already extended their weekly live show slot to give MMJ two full hours, but even then, some cuts had to be made. Sucks that they were great songs, but hey, at least the band will have themselves some guaranteed purchases once this inevitably becomes available to download, because the recording quality is flawless and this is a fucking stellar show! And to present two full hours of live MMJ without ads makes WXRT gods in my books.
I get all that O but cut something else. How about dropping The Day Is Coming, and HOTBM instead? Pick one more if needed but those two cuts were huge,IMO.
Sucks big time no Carried Away. One of the highlights for me.

Thankfully, they did drop The Day Is Coming. (Nothing against that song... but you are the weakest link, goodbye)
Losing Where To Begin and Carried Away is painful. But the rest of this extremely high quality radio broadcast will numb the pain!

Yeah that's all I meant by my suggestions. We've all heard those tunes live plenty of times and I wouldn't have minded if they were cut instead of the not played often enough Carried Away or Where To Begin.
I'm looking forward to hearing this show, especially if the quality is as good as you're saying. It just won't be as good for me with those two missing.
will the chicago shows be released for purchase later?
I hope so. I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the red rocks ones they sold. This Chicago recording sounds great though.

Cut for broadcast: The Day Is Coming, Where To Begin, and Carried Away. Enjoy!
