I'll be Kory's backup in case of emergency  :) With my awful wireless, I doubt I'll be able to keep a connection for the whole thing.

is there anyone who could record the FM broadcast instead of the streaming audio?  It's higher quality and won't "break stream".

I'd love it if someone could grab the FM broadcast. Hearing an mp3 of a stream isn't really ideal...  but I'll take what I can get. Beggars can't be choosers. :)

Sadly, I don't know that I'm gonna make it to Austin by that time on Thursday. We were planning on leaving this morning, but my guitar player has a 102 degree fever, so we're not leaving until Thursday and it's about a 14 hour drive.

I still tape a couple shows each summer. Can't wait for MMJ to tour around. My mics haven't felt the wrath of MMJ in over a year now!

It will be archived on NPR.ORG....i cant say how long but it will be up tomorrow for your listening pleasure.

If Kory rips the stream you can probably download the torrent.  I am leaving for spring break on Sat.  It would be the coolest thing in the history of cool, if I could get this show on my i-tunes before then.  Kory you rock!!!!!

I will also be recording the online stream was wondering which option would be best for format option wave stereo or wma stereo I have not tried this before. I am using my creative software that came with my sound card.

Just so you know, Kory did an FM recording and he will have it up by tommorow probably.   He does a damn good job so I'm not sure you should go through all of the effort.

I would go ahead....you never know how his will turn out.  Plus, a lot of us would like to listen to that in the car tonight.  It would be appreciated.

It's not all that much trouble. If nothing else it'll give me a chance to learn some of my software better.  Any suggestions on how I should go about posting this? Archive.org? Sendspace?

I'm about 20 minutes shy of it being uploaded. My pull was great aside for WFPK losing their connection during run thru and coming back in at the beginning of Touch me...
I grabbed that section from NPR stream this morning and added it in... I think you'll have a hard time finding the splits, the sound is a tad different but overall better than having the songs missing.
It'll be up in... well, looks like 13 minutes now. 256kbps mp3s tagged and ready to go.
I'll torrent the flacs in a bit, gotta work on a text file.

Audacity is nice, but I usually use Sonar 7.  When you pay for internet and lack a strong moral compass, all software is free software ;)
