Title: Recording Radio City show???

Do any of the Board Gods know if a recording of the show will be made, and if it will be published-cd/dvd(I can hope)...or online download? I think it would be a great device in spreading the divine message of MMJ!!!

I will assume, sadly that with such a major venue, recording devices will be prohibbed-cameras(although camphones are easy to hide), Mp3 recorders etc...can anyone confirm this?

I'm planning on taping the show. I have first row/slightly off center on the 2nd balcony. My buddy has a floor seat which I may try to finagle from him.

I'll be running Schoeps mk41 (DINa)/kc5/cmc6~>EAA-PSP2~>Sound Devices 744t.

Anybody have any idea of where I should look or who I should speak to in advance before I lug my gear up from SC?

FWIW - RCMH does allow audio taping. Here are some shows that have been seeded on etree: http://bt.etree.org/?search=radio+city&cat=0&incldead=1

PS - I keep checking the LMA for the Roseland Ballroom show from fall/winter of 2006. I personally did not tape, but there was definitely a gentleman taping with his wife. Would love to hear this one again.

I wish that cameraphones were never invented. There's too many shitty "videos" on youtube with them.

Although I don't have tix yet :( I should be there :) and might tape as well :-/. Isn't the band ok with audio taping? I think they are. ...Anybody know RCMH's policy towards recording devices and even small digital cameras for this show or any shows there in general? Thanks!
