Best use of stuffed animals in concert:
Louisville-based My Morning Jacket has earned a fan base of hippies, Southern-rock fans and alternative kids, and its live show at Club Sound in May was one of the best club gigs of the year. For the second Salt Lake City show in a row, though, singer Jim James performed the entire show with a stuffed parrot attached to the shoulder of his jacket, offering no explanation.
