Title: Beacon run soundboards
Post by: raheuer on Nov 11, 2015, 12:01 AM
Hey all, just wondering if anyone knows if the professional soundboards from the soon to be legendary Beacon run will ever be available to purchase? I, like many, will not be able to attend and would love some new live Jacket to add to the mix (I've been burning a hole in the Red Rocks recording). Thanks y'all!

I don't know, but I'll go ahead and add my name to this thread as a sort of Official Request Thread! Love the boots, and the reality is that releases of one night stands just don't dig deep enough into the gems from any given Jacket touring year. Would love to see a multi-night stand released from this tour (ideally the Beacon with 4 shows).

From what I can gather, johnnYYac is the man to see about getting shit done. Well, Mr. YYac, might you know anything?

I might...

Honestly, I've got nothing I'm at liberty to share, but I can assure you that there are band members and sound professionals going through archives and current tour soundboard tapings, looking to add some shows to the LiveDownloads offerings "soon".

I'm as anxious as anyone here to see what they're considering.  I'm still holding out hope for one of my favorite shows, Portland, Maine 10/15/10.  Also, we have some 2- and 3-night runs already in the books that we know were spectacular.  Going 4-nights, without repeats, does obviously suggest dipping deeper into the discography, so its a worthy dream for those of us unable to attend.
